Kokua Kapa’a Food Pantry, a ministry of Kapa‘a UCC, offers weekly outreach on the KUCC campus every
Sunday from 1–4 PM.
What began as a simple grocery distribution has grown over the past year into a comprehensive support program that now includes:
Weekly hot meals
Medical services provided by HHSC
Access to hot showers
Information and assistance from various community partners serving our houseless, low-income, and underserved neighbors
We are always in need of caring community volunteers to help this ministry thrive.
If you are interested in serving, please contact us—we would love to have you join us.

As the school year approaches, the members of Kapa‘a UCC joyfully jump into action, continuing one of our most beloved traditions of care and service. With grateful hearts, we gather school supplies—pencils, crayons, notebooks, folders—and fill backpacks with grade-appropriate items for the keiki in our neighborhood whose families may not have the resources to provide them.
This ministry is an expression of our faith and our commitment to supporting local families. We believe every child deserves to begin the school year feeling confident, prepared, and treated with dignity. A simple backpack full of supplies carries a powerful message: You are valued, you are supported, and we believe in you.
We love our keiki and are grateful for the opportunity to uplift them as they step into a new year of learning and growth. 💛🎒

Celebrating Diversity, Inclusion, and Love at Kauai Pride
We are overjoyed to partner with the YWCA and be part of Kauai Pride—a celebration of diversity, community, and the beautiful spectrum of human experience. Events like these remind us why it’s so important to share the message that our church is a place of extravagant welcome and radical love for everyone.
We believe that every person is a cherished Child of God which means our doors—and our hearts—are open to all.
At our church, inclusion isn’t just a word; it’s a way of life. We celebrate every individual, honor every story, and walk alongside one another in love, compassion, and understanding.
We welcome all, with God’s Aloha—and we truly mean it!
Every summer, Kapaa UCC teams up with Malama Kaua'i to distribute meal boxes filled with groceries to low-income keiki across Kaua’i when they are unable to receive school meals.
Each box contains enough food to cover seven days' worth of breakfasts and lunches. We are proud to serve as the Kapa`a pickup site for this essential program.

In addition to our own food pantry ministry, a group of our members, along with other volunteers, give their time to serve the houseless, impoverished, and underserved in our community each week, at Ho`omana Community Outreach.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. Both Women's and Men's groups currently meet at KUCC.
It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Join Us After Worship!

Each year, Kapa’a UCC comes together at a local park for our beloved annual church picnic. This is a wonderful opportunity to be outdoors and celebrate God’s creation.
Our day begins with an outdoor worship service, followed by games, delicious food, fellowship, swimming, and plenty of fun for all ages!
Come join us for a joyful day of community, laughter, and connection.

Don’t miss out on this wonderful way to connect, create, and have fun!

Walk by Kapa'a United Church of Christ during sunset on any given evening and hear happy Latin music, laughing, clapping and people sharing their joy of movement. Come inside for Zumba! Our church hall has been an ideal setting for classes and provides the community with a safe place to get in shape. Zumba is one of the many ways we reach out and connect with our community, touching the lives of many, and celebrating the life God gives us.

Pub theology is a chance to meet in a local, casual setting and have open and honest conversation about things that matter. Each month a topic will be presented, and we encourage the conversation to go where it will. We welcome all perspectives and varying religious traditions. Join the second Friday of each month, “Where faith is always on tap.”

Throughout the year, Kapa’a UCC proudly hosts many talented musicians from our community, giving them a chance to share their gifts! These extraordinary events have become a cherished tradition at our church, and we warmly welcome the community to join us.
The mission of the Kapa’a UCC Concert Series is to share God’s wonderful gift of music with both our congregation and the wider community, offering inspiration and renewal for the spirit.
