Kokua Kapa’a Food Pantry is a ministry of Kapa`a UCC. The Food Pantry outreach is on the grounds of KUCC each Sunday from 1-4PM. The initial Ministry begun with only grocery assistance; however, it has grown over the past year to include weekly hot meals and medical services provided by HHSC. Other community partners also offer information to serve the houseless, low income, and underserved in our community. We are always looking for community volunteers to make this ministry a success. Please contact us if you are interested.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ Matthew 31: 35-36
As the school year approaches, the members of Kapa'a UCC jump into action to fill backpacks with grade appropriate school supplies for the keiki in our neighborhood whose families do not have the resources to do so. We believe that every child of God should be able to start the school year prepared for academic excellence and with dignity.
We love our Keiki!
We are thrilled to partner with the YWCA and be part of Kauai Pride, celebrating diversity and inclusion!
It is important for us to get out the message to the LGBTQ+ community that we are all Children of God, loved and adored just as we are, and that all are welcomed, loved, and safe at our church.
Join us next year when we walk in the pride parade…. as we join Jesus to say "you are loved and affirmed!"
"We welcome all, With God's Aloha!
And we mean it!
For over 20 years, the Kapa'a Interfaith Association (KIA) has served up and delivered thousands of turkey meals on Thanksgiving Day each year. The annual luncheon, held in the All Saints' Gym, is preceded by an interfaith service in the church led by most of the priests and pastors from participating churches that include All Saints' Episcopal Church, Kapa'a United Church of Christ, St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Kapa'a Hongwanji Mission, and Kapa'a Seventh Day Adventist Church.
In addition to our own food pantry ministry, a group of our members, along with other volunteers, give their time to serve the houseless, impoverished, and underserved in our community each week, at Ho`omana Community Outreach.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. Both Women's and Men's groups currently meet at KUCC.
It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem. A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Each Sunday after our worship celebration, we gather in our social hall for more discussion and fellowship. All are warmly welcomed to join this merry group for conversation and of course, something to eat and drink!
Each year Kapa’a UCC gathers at a local park for our annual church picnic. This is a wonderful time to be in and celebrate God’s creation. Our day begins with an outdoor worship celebration followed by games, food, fellowship, swimming, and fun!

Walk by Kapa'a United Church of Christ during sunset on any given evening and hear happy Latin music, laughing, clapping and people sharing their joy of movement. Come inside for Zumba! Our church hall has been an ideal setting for classes and provides the community with a safe place to get in shape. Zumba is one of the many ways we reach out and connect with our community, touching the lives of many, and celebrating the life God gives us.
Pub theology is a chance to meet in a local, casual setting and have open and honest conversation about things that matter. Each month a topic will be presented, and we encourage the conversation to go where it will. We welcome all perspectives and varying religious traditions. Join the second Friday of each month, “Where faith is always on tap.”
Throughout the year, Kapa’a UCC hosts many talented musicians from our community to share their gifts! These extraordinary events have become a tradition at our church, and we welcome the community to attend.
The mission of the Kapa’a UCC Concert Series is to share God’s great gifts of music with the congregation and community for inspiration and the renewal of the spirit. Check our Facebook page often for the next performance.
